Ian Remlinger
BIOGRAPHY
Ian began working with Runkle Consulting in 2023 as an intern while
studying at Kennesaw State University. Upon graduating with a B.S. in
Civil Engineering, he started working full time for us and became a
licensed E.I.T. At Runkle Consulting, Ian focuses on structural
engineering design of residential and commercial structures built from
refurbished shipping containers or traditional steel methods.
Ian has a passion for indoor rock climbing, drawn to the challenge of problem-solving on the wall and the thrill of reaching new heights. When he’s not climbing, he delves into the fascinating world of Bronze Age history, focusing on the Middle East. He’s particularly interested in the cultures, trade networks, and mythologies of the era, always eager to uncover how ancient civilizations shaped the world we know today.
